What is Employment Support?

Most employment services put you in any job with an opening. We do it differently. We start with what you're interested in, then find work that lines up with who you are. That's how you end up in a job you keep, not one you quit after three months.

First job, career change, returning to work after time away - the starting point is the same: what do you care about? We build everything from there. Skills training, resume help, job search, interview prep, and workplace support once you land the role.

We take referrals from Inclusive Employment Australia providers and work with NDIS, fee-for-service and self-funded clients. You don't need a specific plan to work with us.

Who is this for?

  • People referred through Inclusive Employment Australia
  • NDIS participants with employment goals
  • Self-funded or fee-for-service clients
  • School leavers entering the workforce
  • People returning to work after time away
  • Anyone wanting a job that fits their interests

Cost, Eligibility & Getting Started

The practical questions families ask before booking, answered honestly.

What It Costs

Pricing follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, the price guide NDIS providers work to. What you pay depends on the type of support and whether it falls on a weekday, evening, or weekend. If you don't have NDIS funding for this category, you can still access employment support fee-for-service. Either way, cost is always confirmed in writing before anything starts, so there are no surprises.

Am I Eligible?

Employment Unlocked works with participants whose NDIS plan includes Capacity Building funding for Finding and Keeping a Job. If you're a school leaver, School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) may cover this instead. If you're not on an NDIS plan, or your plan doesn't include this category, Inclusive Employment Australia, a separate government-funded program, is worth exploring alongside or instead of what we offer. Not sure what your plan covers? Your support coordinator can check this with you, or get in touch and we'll help you work it out.

Where We Work

We're based in Thomastown and support participants across Greater Melbourne, including the northern, western, and eastern suburbs. Some employment support, like resume prep and interview practice, works well online or over the phone. Job search and workplace support are usually done in person, close to where you live or want to work. Some supports also extend into regional Victoria.
